I have been working in the security and events industry for a number of years, gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of settings including premiership football matches, national theatre productions, film locations, and local community events.
Throughout my career, I’ve taken on diverse roles such as door supervision, mobile support, patrol and response, operations, and event first aid cover. This broad experience has given me a well-rounded understanding of the demands and responsibilities involved in ensuring public safety and delivering a high standard of service.
With a passion for the industry and a commitment to continuous development, I now aim to pass on my knowledge and skills to the next generation of security and event professionals. I am qualified to deliver nationally recognised training in key areas such as first aid, spectator safety, conflict management, security, and physical intervention.
Pam Barnard - Invigilator & Internal Quality Assurer (IQA)
As a qualified Invigilator, Pam ensures the smooth and secure running of examinations, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and compliance. Her calm, observant nature and meticulous attention to detail make her an asset in any assessment environment, helping to create a fair and supportive space for all candidates.
In addition to her invigilation expertise, Pam is a qualified Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) with a keen eye for maintaining assessment standards and improving training delivery. She works collaboratively with assessors and training providers to ensure that assessment practices meet regulatory requirements and consistently uphold quality benchmarks. Her strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and in-depth knowledge of assessment frameworks allow her to provide clear, constructive feedback that supports continuous improvement.
Pam is passionate about education and committed to upholding best practices in teaching, learning, and assessment. Her dual role as both Invigilator and IQA reflects her versatility, professionalism, and dedication to excellence across all areas of learner support and quality assurance.
